Yes, this is a quick phone photo and a small one too but I didn't want to totally miss the week. I had a very busy weekend, photographing Shnelltemberfest for Make-A-Wish, which raised $32,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois, not bad for a back yard party. :-)
So I never took a self portrait. That's my confession. Rather than "skipping the week" which I had decided I could do, I'm sharing this shot because I had it, hadn't shared it and I hate the thought of missing a week.
The theme was What makes us beautiful. I think you can find most peoples beauty in their face, their eyes or the way the smile.
Some women get sad when they turn forty. I decide to photograph it. This blog will capture my self portrait photography of year 40.
